Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19/05/2025Hi, I’m Kelly Engels — the designer, founder, and brain behind KLAVIER. This privacy policy is here to explain what happens to your data when you visit my website, fill out my contact form, or otherwise interact with me online. Spoiler: I don’t do anything weird with it.

1. Who’s behind this site?

This website is owned and operated by me, Kelly Engels, based in Antwerp, Belgium. KLAVIER is my creative studio — a studio focused on design, branding, and development.

2. What I Collect and Why

I only collect what’s necessary to communicate with you or understand how people use the site. That includes:

  • Contact form info: If you fill out the contact form, I collect your name, email, and message. I use this info to reply — that’s it.
  • Cookies: This site uses cookies to help it run smoothly and to track general site traffic (like which pages get love and which ones don’t).
  • Google Analytics: I use this to see what’s working and what’s not. It tracks things like IP address, location (general, not creepy), browser type, and time spent on pages. It helps me improve the website, not stalk you.

I don’t collect sensitive personal data and I definitely don’t sell or share your information with shady third parties.

3. How I Store and Protect Your Info

Your info is stored securely and only for as long as necessary — usually just long enough for me to respond or improve the site. The website is hosted on a secure platform with standard encryption. If there’s ever a data breach, you’ll be the first to know.

4. Your Rights

If you’re in the EU (hello, neighbor), you have rights under GDPR, including:

  • The right to access your data
  • The right to correct inaccurate data
  • The right to delete your data
  • The right to complain about how your data is being used

You can reach out anytime at hello@klavier.studio to request any of the above.

5. Third-Party Services

This website may contain links to other websites or use third-party services like:

  • Google Analytics
  • Webflow
  • Go Daddy hosting

They have their own privacy policies — which you’re encouraged (but not required) to read.

6. Changes to This Policy

If I ever change how I handle data, I’ll update this page. No dramatic surprises, just transparency.

7. Questions?

Email me at hello@klavier.studio — especially if you’d like to talk about design, your next project, or privacy stuff.
